Autumn is the time when you can be attacked by melancholy, melancholy, sadness and ARVI. At this time, you want to unwind, wrap yourself in comfort, wrap yourself in a blanket and relax in a relaxing, positive game. This is exactly why I usually go to Pathologic, aka Pestilence (Utopia). I recommend it to everyone, especially when you feel like you’re getting a cold or everyone around you is getting it.
I have long wanted to model and make figurines with tragedians – recognizable elements from this work. Finally got around to it and I want to share it. I’ll show you a little of the process, as well as some beautiful photos.
For modeling I used the popular Zbrush + Blender program combination.
Fans of 3D printers and this game know that ready-made models can be found on the Internet. I was not satisfied with them for a number of reasons (detailing was omitted in places, folds on clothes, etc.).d.), and your own is always nicer 🙂 That’s why the models were made from scratch, and then printed on a photopolymer 3D printer.
I had a plan. The plan is not to paint the figures, but to make them directly from the material of the desired color. Therefore, the bodies are black, the masks are white, and then only the eyes of the masks are tinted. Unfortunately it didn’t work out, look here.

Wherever there were supporting structures during printing (sort of scaffolding), unsightly “pimples” remain that need to be sanded down. They are relatively easy to sand, but whitish marks remain on the material after sanding. If you scratch the figurine a little with your fingernail, a whitish scratch will also remain.
Therefore, the plan was good, but in the end the figures still had to be painted entirely and, well, varnished. The result is this:
I think the publication is almost relevant, given the announcement of the third part of Pathologic, where we will again be able to relax in the city on Gorkhon 🙂
I’m wondering what other poses besides these three would be interesting to implement for tragedians, maybe someone can advise? It would also be great to make a performer, but how much I like making tragedians – they have very expressive poses and look very harmonious in group photos.
